"Hi, my name is Damon Winter.

For over twenty years it has been my great privilege and pleasure to be a wedding guitarist.

I am based in Essex in the United Kingdom.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch!"

What do you play?
I play solo instrumental guitar music for wedding ceremonies, breakfasts, cocktail hours and receptions. My repertoire spans the great wedding classics, jazz standards, movie themes, flamenco, Latin hits and arrangements of pop and rock songs. My current
Song List is available for download from the link at the bottom of this page.

Why should I choose instrumental guitar for my wedding?
Because it is atmospheric and subtle, but can also create a variety of moods, without ever diverting the focus from the wedding couple or the proceedings. Singers and bands are wonderful, but they can, albeit inadvertently, distract attention from the bride. The music I play would never do that.

What music is best suited for my wedding?
The choice is all yours! That said, certain songs and pieces of music have stood the test of time for being very suitable for different types of weddings and moments within weddings. In response to many questions from brides, I have written a helpful and practical
Guide to Choosing Your Wedding Music. Click the link at the bottom of this page to download it for free.

Can I choose the songs you play?
Yes. You may choose as many songs as you like from my extensive
Song List available for download from the link at the bottom of this page.

Do you play special requests?
Yes. I am very happy to arrange and perform your favourite piece of music or song. After your wedding you receive a free recording of my arrangement - perfect for anniversaries!

When do you play during my ceremony?
Whenever you choose. In general I begin the prelude music when your first guests arrive at the ceremony venue. The processional song is played when the bride makes her entrance and walks down the aisle. I perform during readings and elsewhere during the ceremony as you require, including the signing of the register. The conclusion of your ceremony is marked with a celebratory recessional piece followed by postlude music as your guests leave the for the next stage of your celebrations. Guide to Choosing Your Wedding Music available free by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.

Can you also play during my cocktail hour or wedding breakfast / reception?
Absolutely. This is when the full range of my extensive crowd-pleasing repertoire is available to entertain your family and friends.

Can you play outdoors?
No problem at all. With or without mains power I provide crystal clear sound in any location.

Can you provide a microphone and stand?
Yes. It is a very good idea to have your vows amplified, especially outdoors. It is also useful for speeches and announcements.

How much do you charge?
£325 for a two hour minimum call. Extra performance hours £125. Special requests (songs not on my song list) are £95 each. Travel and other fees may apply. For more details, download the sample
Performance Agreement from the link at the bottom of this page.
